It’s time to dust off your dirndls and lace up those lederhosen—Hemingway’s Oktoberfest is back and bigger than ever, pouring across three unique venues this October. From waterfront vibes to cosy community feels, join us for the ultimate celebration of beer, bratwurst, and Bavarian good times.

Tropical Edition – Port Douglas

LOCATION: Crystalbrook Marina, Port Douglas
DATES: 18th & 19th October

We’re turning up the island vibes for our Tropical Edition. Think sun, steins, palm trees and polka beats. Live music, German-style platters, tropical brews, and classic Oktoberfest antics right on the Port Douglas waterfront.

  • Saturday 18th from 12pm - The Main Event: Live music, festival beers, Bavarian menu, Oktoberfest games & best dressed competition with great prizes. Grab your dirndl & lederhosen, add a tropical twist and get ready for some fun Oktoberfest vibes on the marina.
  • Sunday 19th from 12pm - A relaxed family day where you can continue to enjoy the festive beers & food of Oktoberfest in a more low key manner.

The Big One – Cairns Wharf

LOCATION: Cairns Cruise Liner Terminal
DATES: 3rd to 5th October

This is where the Oktoberfest magic really kicks off. Expect big beers, bigger crowds, and full-scale entertainment across the entire weekend. With guest breweries, German-inspired eats, keg-lifting comps, and live music, Cairns hosts the flagship experience. It’s loud, it’s lively, and it’s 100% free to enter.

  • Friday 3rd 5pm - Oktoberfest menu & vibe kicks off
  • Saturaday 4th from 12pm - The Main Event. Live music + DJ - Pauly P, and the Edelweiss Dance Group. Beer hall set up, Oktoberfest beers released, full Bavarian food menu, Keg lifting, new Oktoberfest games & best dressed with great prizes.
  • Sunday 5th from 12pm - A relaxed family day where you can continue to enjoy the festive beers & food of Oktoberfest in a more low key manner.

Tap House Take – Trinity Beach

LOCATION: 26 Trinity Beach Rd, Trinity Beach
DATES: 11th & 12th October

Your neighbourhood beer hall just got a Bavarian twist. Join us for a relaxed, community-style Oktoberfest with live music, traditional games, festive food and fresh Hemingway’s brews on tap. It’s the perfect local celebration for craft beer fans and casual revelers alike.

  • Saturday 11th from 12pm - The Main Event: Live music - Big Pups 1-4pm, festival beers, Bavarian menu, Oktoberfest games & best dressed competition with great prizes. Grab your party crew and get ready to party Bavarian style.
  • Sunday 12th from 12pm - A relaxed family day where you can continue to enjoy the festive beers & food of Oktoberfest in a more low key manner.
