FESTIVAL OF SPIRITS 2026

Festival of Spirits returns to Hemingway's Brewery Cairns Wharf on Saturday 22 August, bringing together Far North Queensland's leading craft distilleries for a full day of local spirits, live entertainment and waterfront festival vibes.

With free entry from 12pm, you'll have the chance to meet the makers behind some of the region's favourite spirits, sample their latest releases and hear the stories that make every bottle unique.

Throughout the afternoon, enjoy Meet the Makers showcase sessions where local distillers share insights into gin botanicals, rum ageing, whisky maturation and the craft behind premium spirits.

As the day unfolds, the Wharf comes alive with live music & DJs, vibrant South American dance performances and an evening headline band, creating a festival atmosphere from lunch through to late evening.

Alongside the spirits, enjoy Hemingway's food menu, fresh local produce, waterfront views and a relaxed family friendly environment.
